Text/Graphic Features Lesson
This is a 2nd Grade lesson made to help with Text/Graphic Features for Animals Building Homes. There are two different versions for differentiation in the classroom.
Common Core State Standards for Language Arts & Literacy that are being met:
RL.2.7 Integration of Knowledge and Ideas
Use information gained from the illustrations and words in a print or digital text to demonstrate understanding of its characters, setting, or plot.
Goal/Objective
Goal: Second grade students will use text and graphic features to find information, answer questions, and make predictions by completing a comprehension handout individually by using Animals Building Homes as a reference with complete sentences, proper punctuation, and identifiable handwriting.
